All visitors, on Sundays from 16:00. With proof: under-18s and accompanied under-13s, people with a disability of 33% or more, unemployed people registered with Spain's public employment service, University of Málaga students, teachers and students of formal Fine Arts or Art History courses, guides and journalists with official accreditation, and ICOM members.

The single ticket is valid for the permanent Collection and temporary exhibitions and includes an audio guide. The reduced ticket is for over-65s and pensioners, students under 26, Carné Joven Euro holders, residents of Málaga province and large families, with proof.
Opening hours
Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00, with entry until 30 minutes before closing. 24 and 31 December, 10:00 to 15:00.

One museum at three prices

The general ticket costs €12. Between 14:30 and 16:00 it drops to €6, and on Sundays from 16:00 you pay nothing. If that early-afternoon slot fits your day, it's the smartest way in.

On Sundays, entry stops half an hour before closing, so you have from 16:00 to 19:30 to go in.

The single ticket is good for the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions, and it comes with an audio guide. The archaeological site is extra: €15 general and €10 reduced with the site included.

The €8 reduced ticket needs proof. It's for over-65s and pensioners, students under 26, Carné Joven Euro holders, large families and residents of Málaga province.

¡Olé! and Julio González

¡Olé! El mito de lo español a través de Andalucía runs until 21 February 2027. In the Sala Noble, Julio González, pintor y dibujante brings together 26 works lent by the Reina Sofía Museum, until 17 January 2027.

Buying from the museum or Tiqets

Tiqets sells the plain ticket with no cancellation. The €6 slot and the option with the archaeological site are the museum's own rates, so check its own ticket sales before buying anywhere else.
