Free for everyone Tuesday to Friday, 14:00 to 15:00. Also free: children under 7 with an adult, legally unemployed people, people with a disability of 33% or more who show their card at the ticket office, teachers, and visitors covered by the Foundation's agreements, such as ICOM.
Booking
Buy online or at the ticket office. Reduced tickets require proof at the ticket office, even if you buy online. The museum's guided tour has its own online sale.
Opening hours
Tuesday to Friday, 9:30 to 15:00 and 16:30 to 19:30. Saturdays and Sundays, 9:30 to 15:00. Entry ends 15 minutes before closing and rooms start clearing 5 minutes before. The garden is free to enter during opening hours, except during events.

The free hour is really 55 minutes

The free slot, 14:00–15:00 from Tuesday to Friday, ends with the midday closure. Entry stops at 14:45 and staff start clearing the rooms at 14:55, so arriving at 14:00 gives you 55 minutes.

For an unhurried look, go in the morning or when it reopens at 16:30, and pay the €8.

Official website or audio tour

The museum's website sells tickets at the official price, and its free phone guide comes in Spanish, English and French. GetYourGuide's audio tour costs more, and makes sense if you'd rather have everything in one purchase.

If you want a live guide, the museum runs tours for €12 (€8 reduced): Wednesdays at 12:30, Fridays at 12:30 and 18:00, and Saturdays at 11:00 and 12:30. Check the language before you book.

Treasure Room and garden

As of 4 November 2026, the Cámara del Tesoro (Treasure Room) is temporarily closed while its installations are checked. The garden is free to enter during opening hours, except on days with events.

If you hold a reduced ticket, bring your proof: you have to show it at the ticket office even if you bought online.
