Classic, Hora Flexible, Guided or RM Games
The Classic is enough for almost everyone: museum, panoramic view, changing rooms and dugouts, on your own at a set time.
The Hora Flexible (flexible time) ticket costs €7 more and lets you enter at any time on your chosen day. It only exists for weekdays without a match, so it's no use for a Saturday trip. It pays off if you're arriving by train or plane and can't be sure of the time.
The Guided ticket follows the same route with a guide, for about €19 more than the Classic. The RM Games option adds €22 for a games area whose hours, the club warns, can change.
Let the match calendar pick your date
On match days the tour ends 5 hours 30 minutes before kick-off, and changing rooms and dugouts shut that day and the day before. The trouble is that the final kick-off time is usually confirmed only two or three weeks ahead, and your ticket can't be changed.
If sitting in the dugout is what you're after, avoid home match dates and the day before. If your flight's booked and the match date isn't confirmed, wait for the kick-off time and buy then.
The club also closes areas for organisational reasons on odd days with no match involved. Notices appear on its tour page, below the visit information: check them the night before.
Stairs, suitcases and single entry
- The route has many flights of stairs. Visitors with reduced mobility can reach the museum and a panoramic view, but not the dugouts or changing rooms.
- There's no storage for suitcases or strollers.
- You can only enter once: leave and you can't come back.
- The grass spends most of its time underground, so don't expect to see it green.
The club's website or a reseller
Buying online saves €3 on the basic ticket compared with the ticket office. The club's website is the price benchmark, so compare any other offer with it. Some resellers add things the club doesn't sell in the same form, such as combos with other attractions or private tours.
The Madridista Premium card (€35 a year) cuts the Classic to €29, for the cardholder only. It doesn't pay off for one visit.
Frequently asked questions
How much is the Bernabéu tour?
The Classic ticket costs from €37 on the club's website and from €40 at the ticket office. The guided tour costs from €56 online. The club lists these as 'from' prices, so they can rise depending on the date.
What are the Bernabéu tour hours?
Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00, and Sundays and public holidays from 9:30 to 18:30. It closes on 25 December and 1 January. On match days you can only do the tour up to 5 hours 30 minutes before kick-off.
Can you see the changing rooms on a match day?
No. Changing rooms and dugouts are off limits on match day and the day before. The museum and panoramic view stay open during the reduced hours.
Can I change the date or get a refund?
Not on the club's website: a purchase is final and the ticket is only valid for the date and time you chose. If you buy from a reseller, its policy applies, so read it before paying.
Do children pay on the Bernabéu tour?
From age five, and they must always be with an adult. Under-5s don't pay.
Can you see the pitch on the Bernabéu tour?
Usually not. The grass is stored underground and only installed for matches, so you may find other things on the playing surface.
