Cabárceno Nature Park tickets

The price follows the calendar: €25 to €45, with the cable car included.

2026 rates. Low season: 2 January to 29 March and 1 November to 30 December, except long weekends and public holidays. Mid season: 7 April to 30 June and 1 to 31 October, except long weekends and public holidays. High season: Holy Week, 1 July to 30 September and all long weekends and public holidays. The sea lion demonstration no longer takes place.

Only children aged 0 to 3 get in free. Discounts on the official price: 10% for over-65s and large families, ticket office only apart from online promotions, and 50% with a disability of 33% or more. They can't be combined.
Booking
On the official website, at least one day ahead, or at the ticket office on the day, with no booking. The park isn't responsible for the conditions of tickets bought outside its website or ticket offices: any complaint goes to the seller.
Opening hours
These are entry hours, because you can stay until dusk. Ticket office hours: July and August, Holy Week, the May long weekend and the El Pilar long weekend, 9:00 to 18:00; 1 March to 1 November, 9:30 to 18:00; 2 November to 28 February, Monday to Friday 9:30 to 17:00, and Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and long weekends 9:30 to 18:00. Some animals start going in from 17:45.

Check the calendar before you buy

The price depends on the day. On the 2026 rates:

The catch is that low and mid season exclude long weekends and public holidays, so a long-weekend day in December costs the same as one in August.

Official website, ticket office or reseller

The official website sells at least one day ahead, and the ticket office sells on the day with no booking. For over-65s and large families, the 10% discount is ticket office only, apart from online promotions. With a disability of 33% or more, the discount is 50%. They can't be combined.

The park warns that it isn't responsible for the conditions of tickets bought outside its own channels: any complaint goes to the seller. Tiqets' ticket also can't be cancelled. A reseller makes sense if you have no car and want the small-group tour from Santander.

When to arrive

Ticket office hours are entry hours, and you can stay until dusk, but some animals start going in from 17:45. In July and August, in Holy Week and on the May and El Pilar long weekends, ticket offices open at 9:00. The rest of the year, 9:30.

Cable car and displays

The cable car is included, takes about an hour in total and reaches areas you can't get to on foot. From November to February, Monday to Friday, the last ride up is at 16:30. The birds of prey flight displays have limited capacity. The sea lion demonstration no longer takes place.

Tarjeta Amigo

The individual card costs €80, is for adults from age 18 and gives you access to the park for a full year. It pays for itself in two high-season days.

Frequently asked questions

How much are Cabárceno tickets?

On the 2026 rates, adults pay €25 in low season, €35 in mid season and €45 in high season. Children aged 4 to 12 pay €15 in low season. Ages 0 to 3 are free.

Which days count as high season at Cabárceno?

Holy Week, 1 July to 30 September, and all long weekends and public holidays of the year. A long weekend counts as high season even in winter.

Is the Cabárceno cable car extra?

No, it's included in the ticket. From November to February, Monday to Friday, only one line runs, 11:00–17:00.

What time is last entry at Cabárceno?

The ticket offices close at 18:00, except from 2 November to 28 February, Monday to Friday, when they close at 17:00. That's entry time: you can stay until dusk.

Do I need to buy Cabárceno tickets in advance?

No. The ticket office sells them on the day with no booking. On the official website you must buy at least one day ahead.

Is Cabárceno open all year?

Yes, except 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January.
