Two areas, two calendars

Tibidabo has two areas with different calendars, and that's what catches people out. The amusement park rarely opens on weekdays outside summer. The Panoramic Area, at the top, opens daily from March to December, except 25 and 26 December. Go up on a Tuesday in November and you'll find the Panoramic Area open and the park shut.

Check your day on the official calendar before you pay. Closing time changes too, so don't trust the hours from another date.

Rides or just the view

If you're with children and want the rides, the park ticket covers both areas, the Cuca de Llum funicular and the TibiBus. For a height of 90 to 120 cm the price falls to €15.50, and below 90 cm it's free.

If you only want the view, the Panoramic Area costs nothing to enter. To ride the Avió, the Talaia, the Giradabo or the Carrusel, pay €4 per ride or buy the €21.50 pass, which includes one go on each plus the Cuca de Llum.

Discounts live at the ticket office

There are reductions for large and single-parent families, Zoo and PortAventura members, Barcelona Card holders and students with an ISIC card. Nearly all of them apply only at the ticket office and require a card, so they're no use if you buy on another website.

Frequently asked questions

What days is Tibidabo open?

The amusement park opens mainly on weekends and public holidays, Wednesday to Sunday in July and August, and on a few extra days. The Panoramic Area opens every day from March to December, except 25 and 26 December.

Is the funicular included in the Tibidabo ticket?

Yes. All tickets include the Cuca de Llum funicular, which leaves from Plaça Doctor Andreu, and the TibiBus shuttles.

Is there a 2-for-1 at Tibidabo?

The official discount list has two 2-for-1 vouchers a year for holders of Catalonia's Carnet Jove youth card. On 4 November 2026 it showed no CaixaBank offer.

It depends on the day and the area. The park and the Panoramic Area keep separate hours, so check the official calendar for your date.
