Guide, audio guide or leaflet
The self-guided visit costs €20 and takes in the concert hall, the staircase and the Sala Lluís Millet, with a digital leaflet in 17 languages. Another €4 gets you either a guide in person or an audio guide on your phone, with images and music. All three last about 50 minutes. If you can't decide, take the guided tour: it goes into spaces usually closed to the public. Each language has its own times, which you choose when you buy.
Cheaper rates to check before you pay
The guided tour drops to €20 for under-35s and over-65s, and to €14 for residents of Catalonia. At the ticket office only, there's 20% off for large and single-parent families and for Barcelona Card, Bus Turístic and Ruta del Modernisme users. Check these before buying from a reseller. If none applies, it's simple: any online ticket, official or resold, gets you past the ticket-office queue, and paying on the spot costs only €1 or €2 more.
Daytime visit or evening concert
The visit shows you the building by day, with an explanation. A concert gives you the hall with music, but no tour of the other spaces. The programme is on the Palau's website, and resellers offer flamenco and guitar galas in the same hall. If you can only do one and architecture is what draws you, go by day.
