Free
Free entry on the first Sunday of the month, 12 February, 18 May, 23 June and 24 September. Also free for under-7s accompanied by adults (not for groups), accredited teachers, working tour guides, accredited journalists and holders of the free Tarjeta Rosa.
Booking
Tickets are booked on the museum's website. Discounts (Carnet Jove holders and unemployed people with proof, 50%; large or single-parent families, 25%) apply at the ticket office only.
Opening hours
October to March, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00. April to September, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00. Sundays and public holidays, 10:00 to 14:30.

Mondays, public holidays or not. Also 1 and 6 January, 1 May, 25 and 26 December.

Closed Mondays, early finish on Sundays

From Tuesday to Saturday it opens 10:00–18:00 from October to March and 10:00–19:00 from April to September. Sundays and public holidays run 10:00–14:30, so don't leave it for the afternoon.

It closes every Monday, whether a public holiday or not, and also on 1 and 6 January, 1 May, and 25 and 26 December.

Where the savings are

Tiqets' ticket costs no more than the museum's and can be cancelled before the date. Discounts, on the other hand, only work at the ticket office: Carnet Jove holders and unemployed people with proof pay half, and large or single-parent families get 25% off.

Temporary shows with an end date

Barcelona and the Tour runs until 25 April 2027, and Sport venues, living memory until 7 February 2027.
