Online tickets have no date: they're valid on any day for 12 months from purchase, during opening hours. They're non-refundable. Discounts with youth, family or disability cards apply at the ticket office on showing proof.

Monday to Thursday and Sunday, 11:00 to 19:00. Friday and Saturday, 11:00 to 21:00. At Christmas 2026: 7 December, 11:00 to 21:00; 8 December, 11:00 to 19:00; and from 18 December 2026 to 9 January 2027, every day from 11:00 to 21:00.

An undated ticket that rewards buying early

The official website sells the ticket for €14.50, against €16 at the ticket office. It has no date: it's valid on any day for 12 months from purchase. If you're looking for a rainy-day plan, you can buy first and decide later.

What it doesn't have is a refund. If you need a way out, Tiqets' ticket can be cancelled before the date, though it costs more than on the official website.

If you live in Spain

The website publishes a €10 offer for residents but doesn't explain how to get it, so ask before you buy. Discounts with youth, family or disability cards are requested at the ticket office with proof.

Duo Fun: two addresses

This combo pairs the Museum of Illusions with the Big Fun Museum for €29 online, or €23 for ages 5 to 12. At the ticket office, adults pay €32. They're two venues, five minutes apart on foot: Pintor Fortuny, 17, and La Rambla de Sant Josep, 88-94.

Late opening on Fridays and Saturdays

On Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until 21:00. The rest of the week it closes at 19:00. Bring a charged phone: the museum is designed for taking photos in every space.
