Which ticket works out best

If you're paying the general rate, the Tiqets ticket for the Museu de la Xocolata includes a bar of chocolate and can be cancelled before your date.

If you qualify for a reduced rate, it's no use to you. Over-65s, large and single-parent families, unemployed people, students and teachers pay €5.60. With a disability card, Carnet Jove youth card or RACC membership it's €5.25. Bring the document that proves it, and note that discounts can't be combined.

Under-6s don't pay, and nor do Super3 card holders, up to four per related adult.

Sundays, public holidays and Christmas

On Sundays and public holidays it closes at 15:00, with last entry at 14:30. On its calendar it doesn't open on 8, 25 and 26 December or on 1 and 6 January. On 24 and 31 December it closes at 15:00.

Wheelchair users: the Princesa entrance

The accessible entrance is on Carrer de la Princesa, not the main door on Carrer del Comerç. It's usually open from Monday to Friday. At weekends you have to ask for it to be opened.
